5. Are children allowed on the show floor?
No one under the age of 18 is permitted in the exhibit hall during move-in and move-out. During show days and only during show hours, no one under the age of 16 will be allowed into the Coverings 2009 exhibit halls unless accompanied by an adult. The accompanying adult assumes all responsibility for the person under 16 and must sign a waiver at registration.

6. Are wheeled bags allowed on the show floor?
Yes, wheeled bags are allowed on the show floor.

7. Are wheelchairs or motorized scooters available?
McCormick Place has made every effort to accommodate people with disabilities. Throughout the complex, you will find entrances, elevators, restrooms and services that offer the accessibility that is required.  McCormick Place also offers onsite rentals of mobility scooters, wheelchairs, PowerChairs and oxygen equipment through its preferred mobility service partner, Scootaround Inc. Mobility equipment can be reserved in advance and will be waiting for you at McCormick Place during your event or can be delivered to your Chicago area hotel. Daily and weekly rates are available with operators on call 24/7 at 888-441-7575 or visit their website at www.scootaround.com/rentals/m/mccormickplace.

1. How do I book a hotel room?
You can book a hotel room online through the Coverings Housing Department. You can also contact housing by phone at +1.888.221.9425/ +1.801.534.4953.  If you are an exhibitor and require a block of 10 rooms or more, please complete the exhibitor housing block request form.

REGISTRATION AND BADGES

1. How do I register for the show?
Online registration is available at http://www.coverings.com/registration.html

2. What is the cost to attend the show?
Attending Coverings is free!

3. What are the registration hours?
The registration area will be located in the North or South Concourse of the Orange County Convention Center.

4. Can I transfer my registration to someone else at my company?
If your plans change after you have registered, and you can no longer attend, please notify us by fax at 708-344-4444 that you need to cancel your registration. Anyone attending in your place should simply register as usual.

5. How do I cancel my registration, and what is the cancellation policy?
If your plans change after you have registered, and you can no longer attend, please notify us by fax at 708-344-4444 that you need to cancel your registration. Because there is no fee associated with attending Coverings, you may cancel at any time. 

6. I am having problems registering on the website. Is there someone I can speak to?
If you experience problems with the online registration process, please call                  877-303-0712 or +1-708-486-0712. If you prefer to fax or mail your registration, you can print the PDF version of the registration form at http://coverings.com/registration.html.

7. How can I find out/confirm that I am pre-registered?
Enter the registration system at http://coverings.com/registration.html and choose “Check Registration Status”.  

8. When will I receive my badge?
If registration is received by March 20, 2009 (for International) and March 25, 2009 (for U.S.), they will receive their badge in the mail. After these deadlines, they may pick up their badges onsite.  

9. What if the information on my badge that I received in the mail is incorrect?
If your badge is incorrect, please mark the correction directly on the badge and fax a copy to 708-344-4444. We will correct your record in the registration system, and you can pick up the corrected badge on-site at the Coverings registration area.

10. Can I register onsite?
We suggest that you register online in advance at http://coverings.com/registration.html to save yourself some time when you arrive at the event; however, registration is available on-site as well.

11. I want to bring a guest, is there a guest registration?
No, there is not a guest registration. Coverings is a trade-only event and all attendees must be registered for the show.

CONFERENCE

1. What is the cost to attend the conference?
There is no fee to attend the conference, all sessions are FREE!

2. Do I need to get a ticket to attend the sessions?
You do not need to pre-register for sessions and you do not need a ticket. All sessions will be open to all attendees.

3. Who are the featured speakers?

4. Are continuing education units offered for sessions? If so, which sessions and what type of CEUs?
Coverings offers continuing education units (CEUs) through AIA, ASID, IIDA, NKBA and the state of Ilinois. CEU information will be available in January 2009 on the conference page at http://www.coverings.com/conference/
