The Wuxi Grand Theatre by PES-Architects is a previous winner of the Architizer A+Awards.
Thinking of entering a project into the CID Awards at Coverings 2015? Your project could qualify for the Architizer A+Awards, too!

Architizer, the world’s largest platform for architecture and design, celebrates its 3rd Annual A+Awards with a call for submissions. Honoring the best architecture, spaces, and products across the globe, The A+Awards gets the world’s top products and projects in front of not just the design trade, but the people and brands investing in and advocating for great design. Submissions are open for 93 categories, including 11 new architecture categories and 33 new product categories.
In collaboration with partners The Wall Street Journal, WSJ. Magazine, the Webby Awards, Dwell, and Cool Hunting, the A+Awards reach 300+ jurors, 100,000 public voters, and dozens of media outlets across the globe. Additionally, the A+Awards give unprecedented exposure to hundreds of finalists, and 100+ winners.
Last year’s competition saw nearly 3,000 entries from 1,600 firms and brands across 100 countries. The judging process included evaluation by an esteemed panel of jurors– including luminaries from the architecture and design, media, art, technology, and fashion industries like Rockwell Group’s David Rockwell, Pinterest founder Evan Sharp, MoMA’s Paola Antonelli, and New York magazine’s Wendy Goodman–and 200,000 votes cast by the public. The 2014-2015 competition will see many returning jurors from previous years, and the addition of the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Beatrice Galilee, Airbnb founder Joe Gebbia, architect Sou Fujimoto, and Pentagram founder Michael Bierut.
A+Awards submission guidelines are available at architizerawards.com. The final deadline to submit projects and products for consideration is December 19, 2014. After jury and public voting take place, winners will be announced in April 2015 and recognized at the A+Awards Gala in New York City in May.
Best of luck!
