What’s new in tile and stone…
Appiani (Booth 2619) will showcase Memorie, blending architecture, design, and art through the ancient tradition of mosaic. Twelve colorways, each featuring an intricate arrangement of 0.5”x0.5” units in 3 colors, are mixed and matched to create twelve 12”x12” geometric compositions. The decorative designs create distinguishable flooring for both indoor and outdoor uses.
American Marazzi Tile (Booth 1201) will tout Urban District BRX, which is inspired by Chicago’s own historic bricks and provides an urban industrial look to any space. The style was created by the revitalization of urban, downtown districts and embraces the old and the new and the combination rough and smooth effects.
Azteca (Booth 608) will feature its Smart Lux Collection, a large format tile in a glossy finish that is unique to this collection. The collection’s exceptional design makes it a perfect accompaniment to metallic finishes.
Azulev, S.A.U (Booth 1014) will reveal Evoque, a series that embodies nature. Regenerating diverse wood finishes, such as white-washed or aged, in porcelain permits this series to be in both rustic and urban settings.
Ceramica Saloni, S.A. (Booth 601) will highlight the new Marmaria collection, which is inspired by the gentle contrasts and colors of different types of marbles. Offering a skillful blend of marble’s classic purity, the collection’s rich variety of decorative options is perfect for creating exquisitely elegant settings of eye-catching beauty.
Ceramicas Aparici, S.A. (Booth 1021) will take the wraps off of Carpet, a series that features two tonalities – Vestige and Sand – inspired by the influence warm and decorative rooms have on a room. For floor and wall, Carpet can be used as floor or wall surfacing in kitchen, bathroom and living rooms alike.
Ceramiche Ascot SpA (Booth 1707) will continue highlighting tile as an objet d’art with Game of Fifteen: Boris Tellegen. The second contemporary artist to be featured in this series, Dutch artist Boris Tellegen’s patterns in different levels of relief in white and black is inspired by the notion of a phony chaos within controlled order.
Ceramiche Refin SpA (Booth 2020) will showcase Labryinth. Designed by Giulio Iacchetti, the collection takes on geometric shapes, oriented in an angled, mirrored design, taking the flatness out of the tile and elevating a 2D material to the third dimension.
Ceramiche Supergres (Booth 2315) will reveal Flavour, a collection of five creative colors: Milk, Apple, Berry, Cherry and Nut. These five shades, along with their smooth or textured glossy surfaces, are perfect for kitchen and bath applications and creating bright and inviting spaces.
Crossville Inc. (Booth 7306) will exhibit Oceanaire, a porcelain tile collection designed to capture the appearance of sea and sand-swept natural stone. The line is notable for its multidirectional striations interpreted in five gradient color options and a range of versatile size options.
Edimax (Booth 2526) will showcase Texture, its new collection of porcelain tiles inspired by the idea of artistic and cultural expression. Displaying different values in light and shading, these tiles convey a strong design that elevates ceramic to something somewhat surprising, with swirling yet subtle patterns.
Equipe Ceramicas, S.L. (Booth 405) will reveal a new collection, Brick, recalling the look of the walls in open brickwork typical of a number of cities worldwide, with a hand-crafted feel that reflects the industrial development of cities such as Berlin, New York and London.
Halcon Ceramicas, S.A. (Booth 417) will bring its Antica Series, which is inspired by real stones and varies from piece to piece for a natural feel. The tiles are available in four colors: cream, nut, pearl and gray.
Imola (Booth 1726) will exhibit Shades – a collection featuring a range of colors inspired by nature in the Mediterranean, from aquatic blues and greens to a sunset-inspired golden yellow. These bold colors allow the collection to stand out in any room.
Interceramic (Booth 7320) will introduce BASOLE, which features the character of handcrafted cotto tiles combined with the modern elegance of stained concrete. A warm, earthy color palette brings out the natural attributes of the collection, complimented with highlights of rust and mineral wear. A soft matte finish combined with a slightly weathered structure add handcrafted feel. The latest generation digital technology enhances the unique details and traces of time that make each piece one of a kind. BASOLE offers 20”x20” and 12”x24” field tile, and a unique 12”x14” geometric mosaic that will add a touch of surprise to any design.
Keraben Grupo S.A. (Booth 938) will present its new Wall Brick collection, offering an appearance inspired by restored brick walls. The collection, which is available in six colors and a 30x90cm size, not only has special charm but it is also adaptable to a range of decorative aesthetics, including rustic, modern or retro-industrial. The flexibility and warmth of this collection makes the perfect wall tile for lounges, rest areas, bathrooms, kitchens or living rooms.
La Fabbrica SpA (Booth 1245) will wow with Copacabana. Inspired by its namesake Brazilian Copacabana seafront, these porcelain tiles draw from winding Basalt and Calcite trails. Striking juxtapositions of dark and light featured in the stone create a bold look, which is ideal for sophisticated contemporary interiors. The tiles come in either a natural or shiny finish.
Lunada Bay Tile (Booth 8000) will showcase its new Concrete series. Teaming up with Mike Taylor, a notable engineer, the collection is made up of both flat field and three-dimensional tiles that can be used in a kitchen backsplash or shower application.
Natucer, S.L. (Booth 617) will tout the Chevron Concrete series, inspired by cement in two different geometric forms: the hexagon and chevron. The collection comes with different reliefs, allowing for different decorative styles.
Ornamenta (Booth 1645) will showcase Paper, a collection of porcelain tiles that, due to a special glaze, act like a chalkboard and elevates tile by giving it a utilitarian function meant to inspire creativity. With a design modeled after grid paper, Paper is available in three colors: gray, white and black.
Realonda, S.A. (Booth 623) will introduce Manhattan, a gorgeous, rustic wall tile with an industrial brick feel. It can be used indoors and outdoors and comes in a matte finish. Available in eight colors, the collection is also frost resistant.
