At Coverings 2025, we honored 22 outstanding projects that demonstrated spectacular craftsmanship and creativity in the use of tile and stone. This week we’re spotlighting the 2025 CID Award winner for Residential Stone Installation.
Project: Private Residence – Central Florida

Location: Orlando, Florida, USA
The 2025 Coverings winner for Residential Stone Installation goes to a Private Residence in Central Florida, installed by Stone Tile Group. This high-end Orlando estate showcases the pinnacle of natural stone artistry with a $1.6 million dollar material and labor budget. Stone Tile Group collaborated with top architects and designers, sourcing premium stone from Italy, Belgium, Germany, Portugal, and Spain. The flooring was installed based on approved plans and tile drawings for custom cut- to-size areas. All fabrication, mitering and finishing was performed on location by the installation team. The exterior rear hardscape stone was installed using the Laticrete 25-year warranty system for anti-fracture, waterproofing and installation.
