Residential Stone Design Winner
Brooklyn Townhouse Renovation
MHLI
Brooklyn, NY

Gut renovation of a segmented 1886 townhouse developer flip to accommodate the program of a young, urbane family.

Reconfiguration of existing second floor layout and plumbing, lighting, and A/V systems.

A newly appointed master suite includes a library accessed by dressing corridor-cum-lavatory swathed in graphic marble, bronzed mirrors and hand-painted wallcovering; a wash alcove anchored by a double tap monolith trough of hand-pieced CNC-routed polished nero marquina and punctuated by suspended minimalist medicine cabinets; a wet room wrapped in striated white limestone and tadelakt plaster with shower system and a soaking tub sprayed in bronze automotive paint and set atop block walnut feet; and a private lavatory.

Do you have a recently completed project that features innovative design and installation of tile & stone? Consider entering it to the 2022 CID Awards – the submission portal will open this fall.
