In response to information from industry colleagues in Ukraine, the North American tile industry has launched a fundraiser to support Save the Children’s humanitarian efforts in the region. Save the Children is a top-rated global humanitarian organization that has been working in Ukraine since 2014.

TILE$4UkrainianChildren is an industry-wide fundraiser co-sponsored by:

All four co-sponsoring associations have contributed $10,000 each and are encouraging further support from their members. The campaign has set an industry donation goal of $250,000.

“Everyone has seen in the news the horrors of this war in Europe,” said Eric Astrachan, Executive Director of TCNA. “The U.N. is reporting that over 50% of the children in Ukraine have now been displaced, leaving them at serious risk of illness, hunger, and abuse. This fundraiser allows us to immediately put into action tile industry humanitarian support for Ukrainian children.”

TILE$4UkrainianChildren at Coverings

Coverings, the largest and most-significant ceramic tile and natural stone conference and exhibition in the United States and North America, will take place April 5-8 in Las Vegas.

Additionally, attendees can also stop by the TILE$4UkrainianChildren counter in booth #N2328 to learn more about the fundraiser. Anyone who donates will receive an “I Gave” sticker featuring a sunflower, Ukraine’s national flower.
