We’ve partnered with Clean the World, a global leader in sustainable, environmental, and social impact solutions, transforming used soap bars and plastic amenities that the hospitality industry would otherwise discard into lifesaving, essential supplies for communities in need across the globe. Together, we will produce recycled hygiene kits onsite at Coverings 2024 on April 22! Completed kits will be donated to a local charity in Atlanta.
Renowned mosaic artist David Arnott will be showcasing his pieces in the Artisan Showcase. To celebrate Earth Day on April 22, David will be crafting a mosaic representation of the Earth. Make sure to visit during your time at Coverings to meet him and witness his creative process.
At Coverings, sustainability education is integrated through various platforms, including a Sustainability Audio Tour, Trends & Solutions Stage presentations, and Green Builder Media’s Housing 2.0 session. Attendees can engage in sustainability education sessions covering topics such as deciphering embodied carbon, green architecture and design, building resilience with tile and stone, and reducing embodied carbon with natural stone, providing comprehensive insight into sustainable practices within the tile and stone industry.
Coverings is committed to supporting the tile and stone industry, green initiatives, and the local community that hosts the show each year. As such, Coverings is donating $50,000 to support six extremely deserving charitable organizations, including EarthDay.org!
Coverings has partnered with local Atlanta charitable organizations to donate leftover materials from the 2024 event.
