At Coverings, the power of our industry extends far beyond the products we create. It is about people, purpose, and the lasting impact we can make when craftsmanship and community come together. That belief is the heart of Coverings Cares, a philanthropic program that celebrates the tile and stone industry’s generosity and spirit of service.
A Foundation of Giving
Launched in 2024, Coverings Cares was created to give back to both the local host communities and causes connected to the tile, stone, and construction industries. The initiative began by inviting attendees to donate to designated charities during registration, with Coverings matching each dollar raised.
Since its introduction, the program has supported organizations such as the Ceramic Tile Education Foundation (CTEF), DIFFA, Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida, Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando, the Gary Sinise Foundation, and the Tile Heritage Foundation.
Expanding the Mission for 2026
Coverings is also honored to have Gary Sinise, actor, humanitarian, and founder of the Gary Sinise Foundation, join industry leaders on April 1 at Coverings 2026 for a conversation on service, leadership, and community in the built environment.
Established in 2011, the Gary Sinise Foundation honors and supports America’s defenders, veterans, first responders, and their families through programs that uplift, educate, and strengthen communities. Among these efforts, the Custom Homebuilding program constructs mortgage-free, smart-technology homes for severely wounded heroes, designed in collaboration with architects, builders, and skilled craftspeople, including professionals from the tile and stone industry.
That mission continues at Coverings 2026, where Coverings Cares will make a $20,000 contribution to the Gary Sinise Foundation, an organization dedicated to supporting America’s veterans, first responders, and defenders. Coverings will also match individual attendee donations up to an additional $5,000, allowing the industry to amplify its collective generosity. Donations can be made directly through Coverings registration.
